He told them a parable. "See the fig tree, and all the trees. When they are already budding, you see it and know by your own selves that the summer is already near. Even so you also, when you see these things happening, know that the Kingdom of God is near. Most certainly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all things are accomplished. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away." — Luke 21:29-33

  • How to be Saved

    The Bad News

Psalm 9:17: "The wicked shall be turned into Hell." Whether you believe
in Hell or not, it is still true. That's why you must be saved. Saved from what?
    Saved from HELL!
Revelation 20:15 "...whosoever was not found written in the book of life was
cast into the LAKE OF FIRE." Will you be one of those cast into the LAKE OF
FIRE? You don't have to be.
Jesus Christ can save you. But you must first realize that you are lost. Will you
go to Heaven when you die? Here’s a quick test: Have you ever lied, stolen, or
used God’s name in vain? Jesus said, “Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her
has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” If you have done these
things, God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart, and the
Bible warns that one day God will punish you in Hell. But God is not willing that
any should perish. Sinners broke God’s Law and Jesus paid their fine by dying on
the cross in their place. God shed his blood for there’s, he transferred his
righteousness for their death penalty. This means that God can legally dismiss their
case: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

    The Good News

To be saved, a person must TRUST THE BLOOD of Jesus Christ, which
He shed at the cross, as sufficient to SAVE his SOUL. God will not accept our
works, he will only accept those who receive his gift of love by faith. God is the
JUSTIFIER, we cannot justify ourselves. We must come to God and trust him to
be saved. Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is
eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." You have a choice. You can try to earn
your way to HEAVEN by rejecting the blood sacrifice of Jesus, or you can take
God's free gift of eternal life by FAITH. What will it be?
